Scholarships and Bursaries:
11+ (Year 7)
At the age of 11 there are 4 entrance Scholarships available which are awarded on the results of the Entrance Examination. One Scholarship is for one third of the fees and the other for one sixth of the fees. These run through the Middle School and can be extended through the Sixth Form at the discretion of the Headmistress.

A Music Scholarship of a third of the fees may be awarded annually upon entry to an 11+ candidate adjudged to have sufficient musical talent.

Upper 5 & Sixth Form (Year 11)

There are 10 internal Academic Sixth Form Scholarships:

Margaret Kaye Scholarships - There are four scholarships of one third of the fees awarded to run for three years (through Upper 5 and the Sixth Form).
Sixth Form Scholarships - There are six scholarships available. Selection of the awards is based on the results of the June examinations at the end of the Lower Fifth, performance throughout the Lower Five year and on interview.
Clare Gregory Scholarship - This is awarded for sports prowess and is for one third of the day fees in the Sixth Form.
There are three external academic scholarships awarded at the discretion of the Headmistress. Candidates interested in applying for one of these should contact the Registrar.

Upper 5 & Sixth Form

Music Scholarship - There is a Music Scholarship for pupils entering the Sixth Form, to the value of one third of the School Fees. Further details can be obtained from the Director of Music.
Art Scholarship - There is an Art Scholarship for pupils entering the Sixth Form, to the value of one third of the School Fees. Further details can be obtained from the Head of Art.

Middle School

Music Awards - In addition there are five types of Music Awards available for free Music Tuition. Further details can be obtained from the Director of Music.

Entry Requirements: St Catherine's Entrance Examination.

Facilities: Art Centre/Music Centre, Athletics Track, CDT Centre, Chapel, Drama Studio, Gymnasium, ICT Suite, Sixth Form Centre, Swimming Pool.

Activities: Ballet/Dance, Chess, Choir, Computing/IT, Debating/Public Speaking, Drama/Theatre Studies, Duke of Edinburgh, Life Saving/First Aid, Orchestra/Band, Outdoor Pursuits, Photography, Pottery, Riding, Skiing, Young Enterprise.

Sport: Athletics, Basketball, Cross Country, Fitness Training, Football, Gymnastics, Hockey, Lacrosse, Netball, Rounders, Swimming, Table Tennis, Tennis, Volleyball.
